Camp Margaritaville / Lake Berryessa Napa, California
Art that Harmonizes with a Unique Escape Destination
It is essential that the art created for Camp Margaritaville, Lake Berryessa, is strategically designed to embody the quintessential charm of the Margaritaville brand while embracing the unique setting of Napa’s wine country and the lake’s camping spirit. For each of the 500 suites, our task is to curate pieces that reflect Margaritaville’s lively, laid-back atmosphere but are also deeply rooted in the tranquil beauty of Lake Berryessa’s shores and vineyards. This fusion will celebrate the lake’s serene reflections, the rustic warmth of camping, and the sophistication of Napa’s vineyards — all through Margaritaville’s iconic, vibrant lens.
After an in-depth exploration of Margaritaville's artistic brand, we’ve developed three core subject concepts along with a range of styles and substrates—designed to serve as an inspiring starting point.

RECREATIONAL
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
Napa Valley's Lake Berryessa offers a stunning mix of natural
beauty and outdoor recreation. Surrounded by rolling hills
and vineyards, it spans over 20,000 acres, making it a haven
for boating, fishing, swimming, and camping enthusiasts.
The art could capture the charm of these exciting activities.
As in all prior Margariaville Hotels and Resorts, the art should reflect the locale ... as you see here in these works of art that
reflect a few of the numerous recreational
activities offered in Napa's rich locale.

Championing Excellence
We have a responsibility as designers to create poetic resonance ...
where the experience not only becomes beauty seen with the eyes alone,
but, becomes a beauty felt within the stirrings of the heart ~ This is the
alchemy ... this is where we know we have triumphed with our art.
~ Sheri Armor / Chief Interior Designer of Decora International
INDIGINOUS
WILDLIFE
The art in Camp Margaritaville's suites could capture the vibrant essence of Northern California’s diverse wildlife and vibrant ecosystem, from soaring hawks above redwoods to playful otters in tranquil waters. Each piece could celebrate
the region’s natural beauty, inviting viewers to connect with its vitality and
inspiring a deeper appreciation for this extraordinary sanctuary.

In Summary:
Tailoring Margaritaville’s Signature Artistic Style for Napa’s Unique Charm

-
While it’s essential to maintain the signature artistic style synonymous with all prior Margaritaville hotels and resorts it is equally important to tailor this aesthetic to capture the distinctive character of Napa’s Lake Berryessa.

-
Decora International’s close proximity to the Northern West Coast offers a unique advantage in crafting authentic art that reflects the essence of this region. Through direct collaboration with the architect and interior designers, we will refine the initial concepts above to ensure the art guides Margaritaville’s style in the perfect direction for this unique locale.

-
To illustrate this balance, we’ve provided examples below of art from previous Margaritaville Hotels and Resorts (curated by The McBride Company) as a comparison to our initial suggestions above.
