Christie's Caribbean Estate
Christie’s envisioned grand, classical Italian-style themes for the murals and art throughout the epic $80 million Caribbean estate, and Wolfe was the natural choice for the task. Known for his unparalleled mastery in large-scale, historically inspired artworks, Wolfe—director of Decora—has gained international recognition for his ability to merge art and architecture seamlessly.
One of Decora’s greatest strengths and highest passions lies in collaborating directly with architects and interior designers from the project’s inception, ensuring that every piece of art is an integral part of the overall architectural vision. This project was no exception.
From the majestic Grand Ballroom's 30-foot "Orpheus" mural to the awe-inspiring highly-realistic clouds on the dome ceiling of the estate's entrance, Wolfe meticulously designed and executed every detail, all guided by the estate’s central directive: ‘create everything Romanesque.’

In this monumental commission, Wolfe and his team fully embraced every challenge—including conceiving and designing the entire interior of the in-home theater to take us back in time to simulate actually being in the Emperor's booth in ancient Rome.
The result was an extraordinary blend of fine art and architecture, where each piece feels purpose-built for the space—an unforgettable masterpiece that underscores Wolfe’s reputation as a world-class artist and visionary.
